Corrections are the most welcome message, especially ones with a citation attached. Here is what is worth writing about, and the one thing this site genuinely cannot help you with.
Read by Chaitanya Banerjee, who writes everything here.
Especially worth writing about
- A factual error. Point at the page and the sentence. It goes in the public log with credit to you.
- A source I have missed. Particularly on sleep cycle alignment, where this site's position is that the central claim is unproven. A study demonstrating otherwise would change several pages.
- Something unclear. If a passage reads as more or less certain than the evidence warrants, that is worth fixing even though it is not strictly an error.
- A calculator bug. Wrong times, a broken control, something unusable on your device. Telling me your browser and what you entered helps a lot.
What I cannot do
I cannot tell you why you are not sleeping, whether your symptoms mean something, or what you should do about them. I am a medical student, not a licensed doctor, and answering that kind of question by email would be both useless and irresponsible.
If you are dealing with persistent insomnia, loud snoring with pauses in breathing, or daytime sleepiness despite spending enough time in bed, those are worth raising with a doctor. They are treatable, and a website is the wrong instrument.
